1. Acceptance of terms
Section titled “1. Acceptance of terms”By accessing or using the Newsfork API or website (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. API usage
Section titled “2. API usage”You may use the Newsfork API to build applications that access government news data, subject to the following conditions:
- You may not resell or sublicense raw API access to third parties
- You must attribute Newsfork when displaying data sourced from the API
- You may not use the API to scrape, mirror, or replicate the Newsfork dataset in its entirety
- You must comply with rate limits and quota restrictions for your plan
3. Content and intellectual property
Section titled “3. Content and intellectual property”News content retrieved via the Newsfork API remains the property of the original publishers. Newsfork grants you a limited, non-exclusive licence to display and use this content within your application in accordance with each publisher’s terms. Newsfork’s proprietary metadata, scoring, and embeddings are the intellectual property of Newsfork.
4. Payments and billing
Section titled “4. Payments and billing”Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you exceed your monthly quota, requests will return a 429 status until the next billing period or until you upgrade your plan.
5. Uptime and SLA
Section titled “5. Uptime and SLA”Newsfork provides a 99.9% uptime commitment for Pro plans and above, measured monthly. Scheduled maintenance windows are excluded. Enterprise SLAs are defined in individual agreements.
6. Termination
Section titled “6. Termination”We may suspend or terminate your API access if you violate these terms, engage in abuse, or fail to pay for services. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting hello@newsfork.com.
7. Limitation of liability
Section titled “7. Limitation of liability”Newsfork is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Newsfork disclaims all warranties and liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
Section titled “8. Governing law”These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
