These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Newsfork platform and related services provided by [LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME] (“Company,” “News Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using Newsfork, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

  • “Authorized Users” — individuals authorized by the Customer to access the Service under the Customer’s account.
  • “Customer” — the organization or individual that subscribes to the Service.
  • “Customer Data” — data, content, and information uploaded or transmitted to the Service by or on behalf of Customer or Authorized Users.
  • “Documentation” — user guides and technical documentation at docs.newsfork.com.
  • “Personal Data” — data about an identifiable individual, as defined under applicable data protection law (including PDPA and GDPR).
  • “Service” or “Platform” — the Newsfork government news intelligence API, documentation, dashboard, and related services.
  • “Subscription Term” — the period during which Customer has paid access to the Service.

Newsfork is a cloud-based API platform providing:

  • Government news ingestion, classification, and structured delivery
  • REST API access to articles, seeds, research, and semantic search (RAG)
  • News-V scoring and metadata enrichment
  • MCP tools for AI agent integrations
  • Optional CuFork advertising services for publishers

The Service is delivered through api.newsfork.com, account.newsfork.com, www.newsfork.com, and docs.newsfork.com. Available features depend on your subscription plan.

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering binding agreements.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

The Service is intended for business and developer use, not for individuals under 18.

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate registration information;
  • maintain confidentiality of login credentials and API keys;
  • notify us immediately of unauthorized use at hello@newsfork.com; and
  • not share credentials with unauthorized persons.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that appear compromised or used in violation of these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • violate applicable law or third-party rights;
  • resell or sublicense raw API access to third parties without authorization;
  • scrape, mirror, or replicate the Newsfork dataset in its entirety;
  • exceed rate limits or circumvent quota restrictions;
  • distribute malicious code or attempt unauthorized access;
  • use the Service to transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content; or
  • interfere with other users’ use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

  • Fees are billed monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled with at least 30 days’ notice before renewal.
  • Late payment may result in suspension until payment is received.
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in an Enterprise agreement.

We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain availability as described in our Service Level Agreement.

The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, force majeure, or Customer-caused issues. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Company IP. We own the Service, software, News-V scoring models, embeddings metadata, Documentation, and trademarks.

License Grant. Subject to these Terms and payment of fees, we grant Customer a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service during the Subscription Term.

Content. News content retrieved via the API remains the property of original publishers. Customer must comply with publisher attribution and licensing requirements.

Restrictions. Customer shall not reverse engineer, resell the Service, build a competing product using the Service, or remove proprietary notices.

Each party will protect the other’s Confidential Information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these Terms, except as required by law.

We warrant that the Service will perform substantially in accordance with the Documentation during the Subscription Term.

EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Beta or preview features are provided without warranty and may change at any time.

Each party will indemnify the other against third-party claims arising from its breach of these Terms, its Customer Data (Customer), or infringement caused by its actions, subject to standard indemnification procedures.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Each party’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid or payable by Customer during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, except for excluded claims (payment obligations, indemnification, confidentiality breaches, and liability that cannot be limited by law).

These Terms continue until terminated. Either party may terminate for convenience with 30 days’ notice before the end of a Subscription Term.

Either party may terminate for material breach uncured within 30 days of notice, or immediately upon insolvency.

Upon termination, access ends; accrued fees are due; and Customer may export data within 30 days, after which we may delete Customer Data per our retention policies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation for 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

These Terms, together with incorporated policies (Privacy Policy, DPA, SLA, Cookie Policy, Supplemental product practices), constitute the entire agreement.
